Comic Calender #1
The following images are from the first known "published" work by Dave Sim, a fanzine he produced from home in 1971 at the age of 15! From what I can gather, there are less than 25 copies known to exist. It was printed on a fairly heavy paper stock and run off on what appears to be a mimeogragh machine in that faded, purplish ink that some may remember from their early school days.
Although the images are primitive by most standards, I find it impressive that Sim showed this kind of intensity, focus and dedication to the history of comic books at such a young age.
